Anna Mancini Obituary
Anna (Tranchini) Mancini, 84, died Feb. 5, 2015, at Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg.
She was born in Preston County on Oct. 21, 1930, the daughter of the late Filippo and Assunta (Carfagna) Tranchini.
She was a resident of Morgantown, but lived for the past four years at Parkersburg Care Center in Parkersburg, W.Va.
She is survived by a son, Jesse P. (Jane) Mancini of Parkersburg; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Mancini of Uniontown; three grandsons, Steve Mancini of Boston, Anthony (Pam) Mancini of Pleasant Hills, Pa., and Christopher (Jamie) Mancini of Carmichaels, Pa.; three granddaughters, Shannon (Don) Smith of Rio Rancho, N.M., Mary (Travis) Dennis of Parkersburg and Sandi Deem of Parkersburg; seven great-grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stefano Mancini in 1987; a son, Anthony Mancini; and three sisters, Mary Palmer, Desolina Gizzi and Adeline Patitucci.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Mancinelli Chapel, 108 Holland Avenue, Westover, 4-8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 8. A prayer vigil will be held on 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 9, at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Anthony Cincinnati, STD, VE as celebrant. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery.
