Cynthia Light Obituary
Cynthia Dawn (Dumire) Light, 52, of Warrenton, VA, formerly of Kingwood, WV, died on Tuesday, January 27, 2015, at her home.
Cynthia was born October 11, 1962, in Wichita Falls, TX, a daughter of Patricia Ann (Moran) Dumire of Kingwood and the late Gary Wilmer Dumire.
She was a graduate of Central Preston High School. She received a Regents Bachelor of Arts degree from WVU and received a BS degree from the School of Nursing at Shenandoah University where she was a member of the nursing honor society of Sigma Theta Tau. Cynthia loved scrapbooking, spending time with her children who were her entire world.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Timothy Todd Light; her children, Matthew Allen Light and Stephanie Michele Light, both at home; three sisters and a spouse, Kimberly Watkins of Elkin, NC, Kendra and Budd Thorn, Stacie Dumire, all of Kingwood; mother-in-law, Jane Light, of Kingwood; father-in-law and spouse, Jack and Tammy Light of Kingwood.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Melinda Light.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel; 295 South Price Street, on Friday, January 30, 2015, from 6-8pm, on Saturday, January 31, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul G. Rebelo officiating. Interment will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery, Kingwood.
