Gary Chidester Obituary
Gary Lee Chidester, 59, of Tunnelton, WV died Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born January 15, 1958 in Kingwood and was a son of the late Willis O. and Elma (Sisler) Chidester.
Gary enjoyed listing to music, watching the Golden Girls and Rachel Ray television programs. His interest includes collecting Elvis Presley memorabilia.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Chidester of Kingwood; six sisters, Margaret Casteel of Tunnelton, Wendy Lambert of Keyser, Ruth Everly of Masontown, Willa Mae Garlits of Akron, OH, Virginia Bailey of Taylorsville, NC, and Louella Jean McDaniels of Moundsville; several nieces and nephews including three special nieces; Sugar Plum, Porkie Pine, and Doll Baby.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Ray Chidester; two sisters, Brenda Chidester and Frances "Susie" Crippin.
Friends may call at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel on Monday, January 23, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
