Genevieve Pentony Obituary
Genevieve Evelyn (Cline) Pentony, 91, of Kingwood, WV, died on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at Windy Hill Village.
Genevieve was born June 17, 1926, in Tunnelton, a daughter of the late William H. and Stella K. (Bolyard) Cline.
She was a 1945 graduate of Tunnelton High School, a Methodist by faith. Genevieve enjoyed sewing and was known for sewing for the Preston County Buckwheat Festival Pageant for many years.
She is survived by two sons and spouses, Howie and Jane Pentony, of Prospect, PA, Jerry and Valerie Pentony of Oak Harbor, Washington; three sisters, Mable Wiles of Tunnelton, Lucille Beavers of Clinton, OH, Alice Faye Shannon, Shelbyville, DE; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hubert Pentony, on April 15, 2008; three sisters, Ruth, Orpha and Opal.
Cremation services were under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Crematory, Kingwood.
The family requests memorial donations are made in Genevieve's memory to WV Caring Volunteer Department, P.O. Box 760, Arthurdale, WV 26520.
