Isaac Felton Obituary
Isaac John Felton, 41, of Reedsville, WV, disappeared April 11, 2015. His remains were found July 6, 2015.
Isaac was born March 28, 1974, in Morgantown, the son of Sheila A. Twigg of Reedsville, and Paul R. "Rick" Felton Jr. and wife Linda of Morgantown.
He spent his youth playing baseball and basketball in Rowlesburg and Kingwood, as well as other outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, hiking and swimming in the Cheat River. Isaac also loved riding dirt bikes and ATV's. He attended Central Preston High. Isaac was an avid woodsman and a kindhearted man. He was always ready to help someone in need. He loved hunting, fishing and harvesting ginseng, among many other things. He also loved NASCAR. His favorite drivers were Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. He became a foreman and CDL licensed driver after spending time learning the trade and working disaster area cleanup for various tree companies. Sometimes he traveled out of state to assist in the cleanups. He worked at MUB in Morgantown and was a truck driver. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and a friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Joshua Isaac Felton of Terra Alta; grandmother, Betty Felton of Rowlesburg; sister, Jennifer L. Adams and husband Josh of Kingwood; half-brother, Douglas Stonebraker and companion Heather of Masontown; half-sister, Jeanne Anderson and husband Rick of Buckhannon; step-brother, Michael Dougan and wife Jennifer of Sherman, TX; step-sister, Rebecca Dougan and companion Ryan of Pittsburgh, PA; nephews, Tyler and James; nieces, Kali, Shenandoah and Grace.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Archie and Mabel DeWitt; grandfather, Paul Felton Sr.; uncles, David Felton and Gary Felton.
A memorial gathering will be held for family and friends on Sunday, September 13, 2015, from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street
The family requests that any memorial donations be made in Isaac's memory to his son, Joshua Isaac Felton, c/o Clear Mountain Bank, 330 East Main Street, Kingwood, WV 26537.
