June Ryan Obituary
June Eleanor (Livengood) Ryan, 86, of Kingwood, WV, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, after a very long illness, while in the care of the wonderful staff at Janet's Heavenly Home, a private nursing home in Fellowsville.
June was born March 23, 1929, in Reedsville, a daughter of the late Samuel David and Glenice Madeline (Chidester) Livengood Sr.
She retired as a secretary for the Preston County Board of Education after 43 years of service and also for the Preston County Credit Union after 30 years of service.
She is survived by two sons, Lynton Ray Ryan Jr. and companion, Lexie Mayfield of Lumberport, and David Franklin Ryan and Robin of Morgantown; five grandchildren, Whitney (Clay) Riley, Chris (Debbie) Ryan, Britten (Danica) Ryan, Lunden Ryan and fiancé Kelse Hoskinson, and Ciara Ryan; eight great-grandchildren, Brenna Riley, Avery Riley, McKinnley Riley, Kade Riley, Taylor Ryan, Jacob Ryan, Reed Ryan and Aela Ryan; two sisters, Sue Percy of OH, Sandy (Charlie) Bolyard of VA; two brothers, Robert (Sue) Livengood of VA, and Sammy David Livengood, Jr. (Judy) of MO; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lynton R. Ryan, Sr.; a sister, Virginia Sexton; five brothers, Harry, Jim, Reed, Ken and Gary; two nieces and three nephews.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street; on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul G. Rebelo officiating.
The family requests that any memorial donations be made in June's memory to the Kingwood Elementary School, 207 South Price Street, Kingwood, WV 26537, to assist in purchasing books for the students and the library or to a charity of your choice.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Doris Livengood, Melissa Hayes, Hospice of Preston County and Janet's Heavenly Home for the excellent care of June Ryan.
