William Donald Zuchowski

William Donald Zuchowski, 76, of Tunnelton, WV, died on Sunday, February 7, 2015, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.

Bill was born December 26, 1938, in Howesville, a son of the late Thomas August and Rosie Catherine (Powroznik) Zuchowski.

Bill loved most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren, taking them hunting, fishing and golfing. Most of his friends will remember him with a deck of cards in his hands. Bill was a coal miner for only three weeks, when a mining accident left him disabled for the remainder of his life, but with his strength, determination and faith in God he lived life.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Trudy Lynn (Gribble) Zuchowski; two daughters and spouses, Candy and Tom Bryson of Howesville, Lisa and Michael Shoemaker of Newburg; three brothers and spouses, Harry and Barb Zuchowski, Bob Zuchowski and Virginia, Pat and Liz Zuchowski all of Independence; one sister Madeline and Harry Trickett of Arthurdale; four grandchildren, Billy Bryson, Scarlett Plum, Ricky Williams and Hanna Braham; two great-grandchildren, Jason Plum, Abby Plum.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Joey Zuchowski; three sisters, Pauline Conversona, Rose Tarr, Josephine Gribble; one grandson, Michael Bryson.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, Thursday, February 12, 2015, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Teacher Trudy Zuchowski and Vance Gribble officiating.

Rotruck-Lobb Crematory will be handling the cremation service.
