Allen Samuel Hillen

Allen Samuel Hillen, 81, of Morgantown, WV, passed away at Mon Health Medical Center on Sunday, March 17, 2024. He was born on June 5, 1942, a son of the late Roy Hillen and Anna Mae (Evert) Hillen.

Allen was a US Army veteran. He was a caretaker for Emma Kaufman Camp and later worked for Prete Rentals in maintenance. Allen enjoyed trout fishing. He was a wonderful and amazing father and grandfather that will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Allen is survived by a son, Allen Hillen, Jr., of Morgantown, WV; two daughters, Marcie Hillen (Chris Martin), of Morgantown, WV, Charlotte Goroski (Eric), of Montana; four grandchildren, Kyle Harris (Brooke), Cody Harris, Mila Goroski, Ivan Goroski; three great grandchildren, Brayden, ElleJay, and Haven Harris; his companion, Melinda Clarke, of Morgantown, WV; and his dog, Sparkles.

In addition to his parents, Allen was preceded in death by: his wife, Nancy Lou (Watkins) Hillen, in 2018; two brothers; two sisters, and one grandson, Shawn.

Graveside services with military honors by VFW Posts #9916 and #548 and the US Army National Guard honor detail, will be held at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10am. Online condolences and sympathy gifts can be sent to www.kingwoodfuneralhomewv.com
