David Darnell McDonald, 63, of Kingwood, WV died Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home.
He was born February 26, 1956 in Kingwood, a son of the late Jesse McDonald Jr. and Helen Louise (Dobbs) McDonald.
David was a spinner for Superior Fibers with 40 years of service. He was a 1975 graduate of Kingwood High School and a member of Love Chapel United Methodist Church in Kingwood. David’s interest were landscaping, cooking and baking, but his greatest love was being with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Cecilia Kay (Newcome) McDonald; two daughters, Natasha Danielle McDonald and Dwayne Baxter of Kingwood, Jacqueline Sada (McDonald) and Wilbur Hargrove of Huntington, one brother, Gregory and Lisa McDonald of Kingwood; two sisters, Kelley McDonald and Fiance Kevin Madison of Morgantown and Carolyn Ayodeji of Gaithersburg, MD; three grandchildren, Jermaine Darnell McDonald, Donte`DeShawn Newsome, Jr. and Reagan Alaynna Hargrove; two nieces, Abbie and Laide Ayodeji; one nephew, Josh and Courtney Layton; two great nieces, Hadley and McKenna Layton.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother; Billy Miller and one brother-in-law; Wale` Ayodeji.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Thursday, June 13, 2019 from 3 to 8 P.M. Following the visitation, cremation service will be provided by the Rotruck-Lobb Crematory in Kingwood.
