Judith Loraine Harvey, 80, of Kingwood, WV, passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at her home.
Judy was born in Buckhannon, on August 21, 1939, a daughter of the late Clyde Shreve and Margie A. (Gregory) Shreve Friend.
She worked as a bookkeeper for most of her life at Farmer’s Supply and D&R Distributors. Judy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She was a 1957 graduate of Valley High School. She was on the Board of Directors for Hospice. Judy loved bowling and golf, and she was two times Ladies Champion at the Preston Country Club. She volunteered for numerous organizations in her community.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Harvey; her daughter and husband, Sally Harvey-Deep and Mark Deep; her granddaughter, Sophia Deep; her brother and his wife, Terry and Sherry Shreve of Masontown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet McCabe and Juanita Keener.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street, on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm; on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Michael Argabrite officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
