Nancy Lorrayne Cipolloni-Ervin, 71, of Masontown, WV died Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown with her adoring and loving family at her side.
She was born May 28, 1948, in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Patsy Benny and Victoria Joan (Palumbo) Cipolloni.
Nancy was a Title 1-Reading Teacher at Valley Elementary and retired with over 40 years in the Preston County School System. She was a Member of St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown and was a former member of the church council. She also was a former Masontown City Council Member. She enjoyed being outdoors and enjoyed traveling, mowing grass, gardening and camping with her late husband, Roger. She held dear to the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Heather Cipolloni of Masontown; step-son, Roger “Corky” Ervin of Terra Alta; step-daughter-in-law, Malinda “Susie” Snyder of Kingwood; her brother, Ben Cipolloni, MD of Arlington, MA; her sister Cynthia Cipolloni Frola and husband John of Akron, OH; four granddaughters, Samantha Boyce, Mariah, Emily and Sadie Ervin; one great-grandson, Wylee Boyce; eight nieces and nephews, Jeff Cipolloni, Eliza Sherriff, John and Joseph Frola, Jackie Farrell, Cynthia Buchman and Jennifer and Terry Shaffer.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Lee Ervin, Sr. on July 17, 1997; two sisters JoEllen Buchanan and Jackie Cipolloni Shaffer; one brother-in-law, Charles Buchanan.
Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. A Prayer Vigil will be conducted in the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 12:00 noon at St. Zita Catholic Church in Masontown with Father Andy Switzer as Celebrant.
