Gladys Odom Obituary

Gladys Alberta Odom, 84, of Kingwood, WV, died on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at Pine Ridge.

Gladys was born August 23, 1932, in Kingwood, the daughter of the late Glen Edward and Cecil Virginia (Teets) Shrout.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking, baking, camping, fishing and most of all time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Patty Jean Jones of Kingwood; grandchild, Jodie Jones-Wolfe of Kingwood; two great-grandchildren, Jackie Jones King, Charles Wesley Jones; six great-great-grandchildren; brother, Garnett Shrout; sister, Joyce Shrout; her friend of 28 years, Shirley Conner.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Wesley Jones Jr.; son-in-law, Wesley Jones Sr; brothers, Robert Shrout, James Shrout, Lewis Shrout; sister, Nadine Shrout-Young.

Private graveside services were held at Maplewood Cemetery in Kingwood under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel.
