Hershel Lovely Obituary
Hershel Lee Lovely, 80, of Albright, WV, died on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at Monongalia Hospital.
Hershel was born November 7, 1935, in Morgan, KY, a son of the late Riley and Leatha (Goad) Lovely.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserve, a former employee of Preston Energy and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Lee (Durr) Lovely; one brother, Russell Lovely of Spring Valley, OH; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at North Preston Senior Center in Bruceton Mills on June 25, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend James Whiteside and Reverend Sonny McNear officiating. There will be a dinner held afterward.
Rotruck-Lobb Crematory was in charge of cremation services. Hershel's ashes will be interred at a later date at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Valley Point.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Pine Ridge Nursing Home for their excellent care during the past year.
