Teresa Rose Gribble

Teresa Rose Gribble, 82, of Tunnelton, WV, died on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at Preston Memorial Hospital with her family by her side.

Teresa was born September 22, 1935, in Bretz, raised in Arthurdale, a daughter of the late Joseph and Viola (Zanilla) Tress.

She was a 1954 graduate of Arthurdale High School. She was a member of the Brighter Day Church. Teresa was a great cook and homemaker who felt great joy in spoiling her grandchildren. She and her husband Buck attended church together for a solid 55 years during their 61 year marriage.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Buck Gribble; two sons and spouse, Larry and Marsha Gribble of Tunnelton, John Gribble of Kingwood; two daughters and spouses, Kathy and Kimble Hayes of Kingwood, Karen and Mark Kilkenny of Tunnelton; one brother, Richard Tress of Hopewell, VA; two sisters, Carolyn Hammond of MI, Vickie Bateman of OH; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John Tress, Ernie Tress; one sister, Flora Heffern; one grandchild, Gabriel Gribble.

Friends will be received at the Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel, 295 South Price Street in Kingwood on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, from 3-8pm; on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Roger and Cheryl Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kingwood.
