David Paul Knotts

David Paul Knotts, 64, of Tunnelton, WV passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021, at home with family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Kingwood on September 1, 1957, to the late Charles L. Knotts and Ruth E. (Hemerick) Knotts.

David served in the United State Army and the United States Navy. He worked construction up and down the East Coast and helped many friends and family over the years when needed.

David is survived by his daughter Julie Loughrie and granddaughters, Madison Sines and Chloe Cosner, all of Terra Alta; Siblings, William (Sandy) Knotts of Kingwood, Charles (Judy) Knotts of Grafton, Charlene (Marvin) Long, Vicky Long of Tunnelton, Joe Knotts of Fellowsville, John (Loretta) Knotts of Akron, Ohio, Donna (Kenneth) Hawkins of Newburg, Penny (Tommy) Bolyard of Terra Alta, Trina Knotts of Canton, Ohio; brother-in-law, Darrell Steele of Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Knotts sister Eona Sue Knotts Steele and brother-in-law, Luther Long.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel. Interment was in the WV National Cemetery in Grafton, WV.
