Donald Everett Hodges

Donald Everett Hodges, 95, of Tunnelton passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Bristol, PA where he had been living with his daughter. He was born March 31, 1927 in Vivian, McDowell County, WV, a son of the late Asa Everett Hodges and Nellie (Nance) Hodges. He was preceded in death by his wife Elda Armeda (Nedrow) Hodges.

Donald was a WWII veteran having served in the US Navy. He was a welder by trade having worked for various companies.  He was a lifetime member of the VFW #826 and an avid bird watcher at his bird feeders.

Surviving are: one daughter, Donna Uber, of Croydon, PA; one son Kenneth Hodges, of Levittown, PA; one daughter in law, Grace Hodges, of Warner Robins, GA; two stepdaughters, Judy Adkins and husband Clinton, of Reedsville, WV, and Rhonda Rice and husband Ron of Cheat Lake, WV; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by:  one son, Patrick Hodges; three brothers, Kenny, Bill and Jack Hodges; one sister; one granddaughter, Lisa Hodges, one grandson, Donnie Uber; step granddaughter, Regina; daughter-in-law, Ellen Hodges; son-in-law, Walter Uber .

In honor of his wishes Mr. Hodges will be cremated.
