Obituary

Harold Junior Lowdermilk, 99, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Harold was born May 25, 1922, in Garrett County, MD, the son of the late Gilbert Troy and Bessie Ann (Casteel) Lowdermilk.

Harold enjoyed wood working and listening to his Christian tapes. He was a WWII Veteran. He retired from the Garrett County Roads Dept. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great grandfather.

Harold is survived by one sister, Joann Hershman of Oakland, MD; two daughters, Diana and husband Freddie Harrison of Terra Alta, Ellen and husband Danny Teets of Sang Run, MD; two sons: Roger and wife Lorri, of New Bern, NC and Rickey from Sang Run, MD; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 17 great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary Jane (Stephens) Lowdermilk; a son Harold Allen; a granddaughter Melanie Lowdermilk; four brothers, Dale, George, Charles and Robert Lowdermilk: four sisters, Thelma Kisner, Mabel Fulk, Mary Kemphfer and Gladys Lowdermilk.

Cremation services are under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel and Crematory.
