James “Moldy” William Shrout, 74, of Kingwood, WV, died on Thursday, May 20, 2021, at Mon General Hospital.
Moldy was born October 8, 1946, in Kingwood, WV, a son of the late Alva Wesley and Helen Gertrude (DeBerry) Shrout.
He enjoyed fishing, going to yard sales and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Mae (Miller) Shrout; his son, Toby James Shrout of Kingwood; his daughter, Christina Marie Shrout of Kingwood; one brother, and spouse, Preston and Billy Jo Shrout of Reedsville; one sister, Wilma Shrout of Kingwood; two grandsons, Noah William and Mason Allen Shaffer of Kingwood.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Richard Shrout, Bob Shrout, Junior Shrout, Oliver Shrout, Dennis DeBerry and an infant brother; five sisters, Gertrude Radabaugh, Kay DeBerry, Bonnie Haddix, Betty Harris and Evelena Stemple.
There will be a graveside memorial service on Sunday, May 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Kingwood, with Craig Rotruck officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel and Crematory.
