Jerry McClung Obituary

Jerry Michael McClung, age 77, of Oakland, MD, passed away Monday, April 22, 2024, at Kingwood Healthcare Center. He was born November 20, 1946, in Pulaski, VA, a son of the late Mason Desasky McClung and Harriette Melita (Sutphin) McClung.

Jerry worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed NASCAR, and watching the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Steelers.

Surviving are: one son Jason McClung and wife Jennifer; four grandchildren. Brandon McClung and wife Christy, Bryson McClung, Trinity McClung, and Gage McClung, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: two sisters, Joyce Ayersman and Joan Thomas.

At his request cremation services will be accorded by the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 S. Price Street, Kingwood, WV.
