Lucas "Luke" Hayes

Lucas Quinn “Luke” Hayes, 56, of Kingwood, WV, died on Monday, March 9, 2020.

Luke was born October 20, 1963, in Kingwood, a son of the late William “Bill” and Barbara Joan (Graham) Hayes.

He was a certified lumber grader for Interstate Lumber then for Allegheny Wood Products, where he worked until he retired in 2017. Luke enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing.

He is survived by two brothers, Cord Hayes of Valley Point, Shannon Hayes and Katherine Miller of Rowlesburg; one sister, Michalea Hartley Hayes of Kingwood; one sister-in-law, Debbie Hayes of Morgantown.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William L. Hayes.

Friends will be received at the Together4Christ Ministries Church, at 115 Beverly Street Kingwood, WV 26537 on Saturday, March 14, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Kelly Gamble officiating. Cremation services were provided under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Crematory in Kingwood.
