Martha Jane (Runner) Kott

Martha Jane Kott, 77, of Independence, WV died on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Mon General Hospital in Morgantown.

Martha was born December 16, 1944, in Baltimore, Maryland, a daughter of the late William Forest and Violet Viola (Gross) Runner.

Martha like to go shopping, putting together puzzles and especially being around her family.

She is survived by two sisters and spouse, Mary Ervin of Independence and Marie and Theodore Wiles of Albright; three brothers, David Runner of Kingwood, Dallas Runner and Moral Runner, both of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Kott on September 5, 2019; one brother, Don Robinson.

Friends will be received at the Kingwood Funeral Home, 295 South Price Street, Kingwood on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00pm with Rev. Ray Frankhouser officiating. Interment will follow the service at Pine Grove Cemetery.
