Robert Lee Upperman

Robert Lee Upperman, 62, of Tunnelton, West Virginia entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2022.

He was born on November 7, 1959 in Tunnelton. The son of the Late Junior Robert Garfield and Rosemary “Betty Jane” (West) Uppperman.

Robert worked over 20 years as a skid operator in logging for RBJ Trucking. He loved to fish, hunt, and go 4 wheeling, and being around his family.

Robert is survived by: his brothers, Earl Lee “Sonny” McCormick of Tunnelton, and James and Bonnie McCormick of Tunnelton; his sisters, Laura Upperman of Tunnelton, Nellie Upperman of Tunnelton, and Joyce McCormick of Tunnelton; six nieces and nephews, Tammy and Wesley Parker, Jessica McCormick and fiancé, Dr. Dan Farmer, Chrissie McCarty, Amanda and Johnathan Friend, Duane Rhodes, Ellen Upperman; nine great-nieces and nephews, Wesley, Mason, Trinity, Shyann, Abby, Kenzie, Payton, Alexander and Alexis; his dogs, Mya and Sarge his best buddies.

Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Robert during visitation at the Kingwood Funeral Home, located at 295 S. Price Street on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 5 – 8 pm. Sunset Memorial Gardens Crematory will provide cremation services following the visitation.
