William Hugh Lose

William Hugh Lose, 86, of Bruceton Mills, WV, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his home.

William was born January 22, 1935, in Clifton Mills, WV, a son of the late Charles Porter and Julia Marie (Saba) Lose.

He worked many years as a mechanic and electrician in the coal mines, then as a building engineer for the Writ Corporation in VA, from which he retired. William was a family man who enjoyed helping people and working on cars and motorcycles. He was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness Organization and did volunteer work for them. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia (Wagner) Lose; two sons and spouses, Daniel and Loretta Lose, David and Lois Lose, all of Bruceton Mills; two sisters, Henrietta Lose of West Palm Beach, FL, Rita Armentrout of Titusville, VA; four grandchildren, Ashley Jenkins, Samantha Rivera, Amanda Wolfe, Candice DeShields; nine great-grandchildren, Ty, Lane, Kaylee, Felicity, Hayden, Aaron, Alexis, Chase and Jarret; nephew, Robert “Rob” Jones.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Porter Lose Jr. and Robert Lose; three sisters, Mabel Thomas, Florence Seece and Beaula Smiley.

Cremation is under the direction of Rotruck-Lobb Kingwood Chapel and Crematory.
